Brand New Renault Master And Trafic Overhaul – A Closer Look

Brand New Renault Master And Trafic Overhaul - A Closer Look

Renault Overhaul Master and Trafic Vans, and Showcase Electric Concept

Renault have been busy bees of late.  The company has overhauled their Trafic and Master vans and has also introduced the Kangoo – their brand spanking new electric concept van.

Renault Master

With a new front-end design featuring a C-shaped light and a taller grille, the new Master has had a smart facelift. The interior looks good too, there’s a chrome edge on the dashboard, the infotainment screen has been fully assimilated and the upholstery is looking swish too.

Looks aren’t everything though, functionality also counts for something. With this in mind Renault have added a rear camera and a new system that balances the vehicle in the event of severe crosswinds. There’s also parking sensors at the front and a sensor at the back (which helps with parking and those pesky blind spots).

Renault also takes safety seriously. The Master has autonomous emergency brakes, so even if you don’t notice there’s danger ahead your van will apply the brakes. There’s also a 2.3l diesel engine and you get to choose from a range of gearboxes and power outputs. Renault are pleased to announce that there’s now an electric Master, which can travel for 75 miles (handy for deliveries).

Renault Trafic Facelift

If you’re after a smaller vehicle, the Renault Trafic could be right up your street. Renault have added the C-shaped light and tall grille (as they have with the Master) and there are other updates too. The interior has fancy chrome buttons and the upholstery looks fresher. The engine has had a makeover as well, check out the 2l diesel power plates and new six-speed automatic gearbox.

The traditional Renault Trafic may be compact but Renault are introducing a larger vehicle designed to carry more passengers (great for big families). There will be two options – the practical Trafic Passenger and the indulgent SpaceClass.

2019 Renault Kangoo Z.E. Concept

The Kangoo ZE Concept is certainly worth a look. It provides a glimpse of the next-generation electric Kangoo van, and in the current environmental climate electric is the way to go. The design features rounded-lines that are reminiscent of the Renault passenger vehicles, but this is a vehicle for work as well as play.

Light commercial vehicles are a popular choice with consumers and Renault anticipate that this trend is set to continue. Renault are keen to develop their range in a bid to meet customer expectations. The company are looking to embrace innovation and will no doubt push on in a bid to offer good looking, high-performance vehicles.
